Some little time ago, a large box and a large bag of wool arrived from Wangaratta Woollen Mills, purchased with some of the money from our grant from Bendigo Community Bank at North Epping:
Much hard work was in store for us, as we had bought "tangled" wool which sells for $10 a kilo, rather than the $100 a kilo it would cost us otherwise.
PomPom (ravelry name) and Jen from our group came to our aid with the loan of three ball-winders. Two full days of untangling and winding later, we had this to show for our efforts:

Already rugs are coming in that have been knitted with this wool and it's almost time to order some more.
