Each week when we arrive for the knitting group, the rugs seem to have multiplied in our absence. This year we're trying to keep track of the numbers knitted by the group; put together and edged by the group; or just edged by the group. This will allow us to make a more meaningful report to the North Epping Bendigo Community Bank on our use of the grant we've received.
But it's a bit difficult - some rugs are like elusive ancestors - they arrive fully formed with no evidence of their parentage; others have a note pinned to them with the maker's name; and others are brought in by group members, either made from scratch by the member, or put together and edged from donated squares. Still, we'll do our best. If you recognise any rugs in this blog with the wrong, or no attribution, please let me know so that I can correct it.
